Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, Reneé Bailey began her career in education as an English teacher 15 years ago at West Valley High School. Though not immersed in Career & Technical Education programs, she enjoyed watching them take flight and often partnered with colleagues in support of the regional Robotics competitions. After spending several years in Tacoma School District as an assistant principal, she has returned to the Spokane Valley CTE consortium as Freeman High School’s principal and CTE administrator. Reneé enjoys sports, fitness and reading.
Although Reneé’s background is not CTE, she has always enjoyed the endless possibilities that these programs provide for all students. Having seen programs develop from the ground up, it is hard not to be passionate about them!
