EVHS and The Wrought Iron Railing
Last month, Dave Baker of Baker Builders offered the CTE students at East Valley High School a challenge. He asked them to fabricate a wrought iron fence for a 1.2 million dollar house his firm was building. He supplied the design and materials, as well as a donation to the EVHS CTE program (thank you, Baker Builders!). The fence project has been an incredible opportunity for students to be involved in a real world project, complete with deadlines, process control, and quality assurance. All of the students have done an admirable job, especially Keegan Richardson, Jaren Graham and Jack Donahue.
The EVHS lab and students are available to build similar fabrication projects. Call or email the school if you have a project you're interested in sharing!
