Katie Scofield

Katie has an extensive background in marketing and communications, and has overseen Numerica's financial education and youth programs at Numerica since 2014. She specializes in developing curriculum, training teachers, developing relationships with schools and attending school events. But, her favorite part of her job is the time spent in the classroom teaching students of all ages how to be responsible with their money. Katie has a bachelor's of science in communications from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from Western Governors University of Washington. She is also a Cuna Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor.  In 2015 she was recognized by Inland Business Catalyst as one of Spokane's "20 Under 40" professionals. She is very active in the community volunteering for many organizations including Fantasy Flight and Washington Business Week. Katie also sits on the Career and Technical Education advisory boards for both Spokane Public Schools and the Spokane Valley Consortium. As a mom of a high schooler who has interests in CTE, she feels that it is important to be involved in the development of the curriculum our students are being taught.

 

Katie also sits as an advisory board member for EWU Eastern Washington Area Health Education Center and as a board members for the Spokane Public Schools Foundation. She has a passion for education and is excited to financially empower our next generation!

 

Katie is a wife and a mother of two teenage daughters. She enjoys knitting and spending time with her family and friends.
